1. GOD'S LIFE: God's
laws/commandments, power and spirit of grace, love joy, peace,
goodness, faith, patience, gentleness, mercy, tolerance,
meekness, temperance, confidence, health and strength and
victory over evil.
2. Satan's evil spirit of
DEATH: selfishness, ego centered, greedy, lying, stealing,
rivalry, aggressive, violent, angry, sinful, lustful, fearful,
anxious, hateful and worldly. The articles in this series
tells you how to experience the LIFE of God and how to avoid
and overcome the devil's destructive ways of DEATH.
In Him [Jesus] was life; and the life
was the light of men (John 1:4)
Jesus said to Him,
I am the way, the truth, and the life. (John
14:6)
The foundation for original pure Christianity
is:
- An emphasis on Jesus Christ, the living Word of God.
- The Bible, the written word of God that reveals Jesus
Christ to us. These two, Jesus the living Word of God, and
the Bible, the written word of God are the basis for
truth, telling what to believe and how to live.
Christianity has become soft, shallow and superficial.
Churches are neglecting to preach and teach the abiding truths
of God's law/commandments (instructions) of God, and the
difference between Bible truth and religious traditions of
men. Prophecy- coming events and how to prepare is generally
neglected. Teaching salvation by forgiveness, love, inner
peace, acceptance by God and His people, joy, freedom from the
power of sin and freedom from guilt. Personal and loving
relationships with other Christians is another area of need.
Solutions for these needs are abundant and clear in God's
word, the Bible.
The Reformation was a partial correction. Revivals over the
centuries have helped. But we need more. Much more. We need a
spiritual revolution of restoration to original Bible
belief and practice. Christians must return to the original
foundation of the first century Church. It is the only way we
can fulfill God's continuing plan and purpose for us His true
church and His kingdom in this twenty-first century.
